Thank you for visiting pattisfotos. These are just a few a the shots of my family and friends.
My love for photography started at 8 years old and I would take pictures with my Mom's Brownie camera. I would line up my dolls on the couch, put them on the chairs and on the floor and have photo shoots. I photographed my cats, but they were hard to shoot. This was the beginning of my love for photography.
At 11, I got my very own camera, a Polaroid Swinger! I had so much fun with instant photography. I felt like I was living in the future! How advanced that was in 1964!
I received my first SLR camera on my 20th birthday. It was a 35mm SLR Yashica and I felt like a professional photographer. My love for photography had really grown and at 23, I purchased my first Nikon and I have continued buying Nikons since them. Today I use a D300 and am ready to upgrade to a newer model. I even enjoy using my iPhone for quick shots and I love posting them on Instagram. Digital photography has changed everyone's life and it has made everyone a photographer.
I worked for Lufthansa for the past 37 years and have enjoyed traveling. My one regret is that I did not study photography in school and I did not become a professional photographer. I love taking pictures of babies, weddings and landscapes and it as a wonderful hobby, but wish it was my profession.
Always remember, do what you love and you will always be happy.
